Research and development is an important part of our business strategy, as the development of new products is key to achieving leadership within the industry. In our continual effort to establish ourselves as an industry leader, as well as to develop more and better products, we set up a Research & Development Centre in 2000. Subsequently, we entered into a long-term research and development collaboration with the Jiangnan University . Employing sophisticated equipment, we also developed a sweetener simulation production line, which is capable of producing various kinds of sweeteners for research and development purposes. With full confidence, we believe that we stand at the forefront of product development amongst our peers.
As testimony to our achievements, Luzhou was awarded the Science and Technology Result Identification certificates in recognition of the technological advancement of our production methods for both IMO900 high-purity Isomalto-oligosaccharide syrup and deoxidised sugar. Furthermore, in March 2003, we were named as “ The Centre of Enterprise Technology Recognised by Shandong Province ” by the Shandong Economic & Trade Commission . |
